1、 Product parameters
(1) Material
High quality plastics are selected as the main raw materials, commonly including PP (polypropylene), PS (polystyrene), and PVC (polyvinyl chloride). PP material has good toughness and impact resistance, and is lightweight, suitable for fans used in daily life; PS material has high transparency, good hardness, bright printing colors, and is commonly used for advertising fans; PVC material has strong plasticity, can be made into various shapes, and has a certain degree of waterproofing, but it needs to be used with caution in environmentally friendly scenarios.
(2) Specification and size
Various specifications can be customized according to different customer needs, with common size ranges as follows:
Fan length: 150mm-300mm
Fan width: 100mm-200mm
• Fan handle length: 80mm-150mm
Fan handle diameter: 3mm-8mm
The specific size error is controlled within ± 0.5mm to ensure the overall coordination and comfort of the fan.
(3) Fan shape
Provide a variety of fan shape options, such as circular, elliptical, square, heart-shaped, irregular, etc. The circular fan is classic and elegant, suitable for various occasions; The elliptical fan has smooth lines and excellent visual effects; The square fan surface is simple and neat, making it easy to print and layout; The heart-shaped fan is creative and deeply loved by young people; Alien fans can be made according to customers' special design needs, which can better highlight the brand or promotional theme.
(4) Thickness
Plastic fans of different materials and purposes have varying thicknesses. The thickness of the fan surface made of PP material is generally between 0.2mm-0.5mm, and the thickness of the fan handle is between 1mm-3mm; The thickness of the PS material fan surface is usually 0.3mm-0.6mm, and the thickness of the fan handle is 1.5mm-4mm; The thickness of the PVC material fan surface is about 0.25mm-0.55mm, and the thickness of the fan handle is 1.2mm-3.5mm. The appropriate thickness can ensure the stiffness and service life of the fan.
(5) Printing parameters
Printing method: Screen printing, transfer printing, or UV printing are used. Screen printing is suitable for large-area monochrome or multi-color printing, with full colors; Pad printing is suitable for printing small patterns and text on irregular fan surfaces or handles; UV printing has fast drying speed, strong three-dimensional printing pattern, and is wear-resistant and scratch resistant.
Printing color: It can achieve monochrome, dual color, and multi-color printing, accurately restoring the color of customer design drafts, with high color saturation and not easy to fade.
Printing accuracy: The patterns and text are clear and distinguishable, the edges are smooth, the printing is accurate, and the error does not exceed 0.2mm.
(6) Temperature resistance
PP material fans generally have a temperature resistance range of -20 ℃ -120 ℃ and are not easily deformed in daily use environments; PS material fans have relatively poor temperature resistance, usually ranging from -10 ℃ to 70 ℃, and should be avoided from being placed in high-temperature environments for a long time; The temperature resistance range of PVC fans is about -15 ℃ -80 ℃. When using, be careful to stay away from high temperature sources.
2、 Production process
(1) Design layout
Based on the design draft provided by the client, promotional requirements, and the specifications and dimensions of the fan, professional designers will carry out layout design. Fully consider the shape of the fan surface and the position of the fan handle, arrange the printing content reasonably, and ensure clear and beautiful information transmission. After the design is completed, digital sampling will be conducted for customer confirmation. Once confirmed to be correct, the next step will be taken.
(2) Raw material preparation
Purchase corresponding plastic raw materials based on the determined materials and specifications. Inspect raw materials to ensure they meet quality standards, such as purity, transparency, toughness, and other indicators. Cut or melt qualified plastic raw materials to prepare for subsequent molding processes.
(3) Fan face and handle forming
Fan shaped molding: For thermoplastic materials such as PP and PS, injection molding or extrusion molding processes are used. Injection molding is the process of injecting molten plastic into a fan mold, cooling it down, and then demolding it to form a fan; Extrusion molding is the process of extruding plastic into sheets using an extruder, and then cutting and molding it into the desired fan-shaped shape.
Fan handle molding: Injection molding technology can also be used to produce the corresponding fan handle according to the design mold of the fan handle. For the fan handle that needs to be connected to the fan surface, a connection structure can be reserved during the molding process.
(4) Printing process
Surface treatment such as dust removal and degreasing should be applied to the formed fan surface and handle (if printing is required) to improve the adhesion of the printing. Adjust the parameters of the printing equipment, such as printing pressure, ink concentration, printing speed, etc., based on the selected printing method. After printing is completed, it undergoes drying treatment. Screen printing and pad printing can be naturally air dried or low-temperature dried, while UV printing uses UV lamps to rapidly cure the ink.
(5) Assembly
If the fan face and handle are designed separately, assembly is required. Connect the fan handle firmly to the fan surface through buckles, adhesives, or welding. During the assembly process, it is necessary to ensure that the connecting parts are flat and free of looseness, and to ensure the stability of the fan during use.
(6) Quality inspection
Conduct a comprehensive quality inspection on the completed plastic fan, including dimensional accuracy, printing quality (color, clarity, overlay accuracy), connection strength between the fan face and handle, temperature resistance and toughness of the material, etc. Qualified products are counted and packaged, while unqualified products are reworked or scrapped to ensure that the quality of the factory products meets customer requirements.
(7) Storage and transportation
Store qualified plastic fans in a ventilated and dry warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight and high temperature environments. According to the customer's order requirements, shipment should be made. During transportation, attention should be paid to avoiding squeezing and collision, preventing fan deformation or damage, and ensuring that the product is delivered to the customer in good condition.
